Artful Living for a Heart-Centered Home
Every Painting Begins in Prayer
I believe beauty has the power to slow us down and remind us of God's presence in ordinary moments. My paintings are inspired by nature, Scripture, and the quiet places where faith grows.
Whether you're searching for an original painting or a fine art print, I hope you find a piece that speaks to your heart and brings lasting peace to your home.
Original Art
Every painting begins in a quiet moment — a prayer, a breath, a brush with something beautiful that needed to be captured.
These are one-of-a-kind originals, painted by hand and released into the world only once. When one finds its way into your home, it carries with it the story of how it came to be — and becomes part of yours.
Each piece is available until it isn't. If something speaks to you, trust that.
Fine Art Giclée Prints
Not every piece that speaks to you is meant to be out of reach.
These giclée fine art prints are reproduced from original paintings with the same care and intention as the work itself — rich color, fine detail, and the quiet feeling that drew you in the first place.
A more accessible way to bring meaningful art into your home, without compromise.
Find the one that feels like it was made for your wall.
Stationery
Beautiful words deserve a beautiful page.
Each piece in this collection is designed to bring a little more intention into your everyday — from the notes you leave on a kitchen counter to the cards you tuck into a gift for someone you love. Rooted in faith, inspired by nature, and made to feel like something worth keeping.
Because even the small moments deserve to be marked with care.
Meet Lori Anderson-Datus
There are seasons in life that change the way we see the world.
For me, painting became one of them.
What began as a way to quiet an anxious mind during a difficult season slowly became something much deeper. As I returned to the easel, I found myself slowing down, paying closer attention, and noticing God's presence in ordinary moments—the morning light spilling across a table, wildflowers growing unnoticed beside a path, fruit ripening quietly, or a weathered gate standing open with an invitation to step forward in faith.
Those moments became my paintings.
My hope is that every piece I create invites you to pause, breathe deeply, and rediscover the beauty and peace that have been there all along. I believe our homes should be places of refuge—spaces that gently remind us of God's faithfulness, His creativity, and His nearness in everyday life.
Whether I'm painting an open garden gate, a simple bouquet of flowers, or a still life gathered from creation, each piece begins with prayer and a desire to draw people closer to the Father's heart.
I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art & Design and have spent more than three decades working as a designer, photographer, publisher, and creative storyteller. Those experiences taught me to appreciate light, composition, and the power of visual storytelling, but painting has become the place where all those threads come together.
Today, I work from my home studio in Summerville, South Carolina, creating original oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings, fine art prints, and thoughtfully designed paper goods that celebrate faith, beauty, and the art of paying attention.
Thank you for being here. I hope my work encourages you to slow down, notice the beauty around you, and find fresh reminders of God's presence in your own story.
