Grace in the Valley is a part of my Year of Grace series, inspired by the quiet beauty and sacred symbolism of the Lily of the Valley — a flower often hidden yet deeply fragrant, much like the grace God pours out in the unseen moments of our lives.
Painted during a season of deep reflection, this piece is rooted in Isaiah 40:27–31, a passage that reminds us that even when we feel overlooked or exhausted, we are never forgotten by God. He strengthens the weary, renews our hope, and lifts us up to soar.
The bold brushstrokes and layered hues of deep indigo, emerald, and gold are a visual echo of God’s strength and presence. The white blooms rise gently through the canvas, symbolic of purity, promise, and grace blooming in the hardest valleys.
This artwork is a heartfelt reminder that even when we walk through seasons of waiting, weariness, or wilderness, God is near — steady, watchful, and faithful to renew.
For collectors, Grace in the Valley offers more than beauty — it carries a message of resilience and hope. It’s a visual meditation on the truth that those who wait on the Lord will rise again, renewed by His unending grace.
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.”
— Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)
